Dr. Bo Yang is postdoc scholar in Department of Sociology at University of Central Florida. He joined UCF with Citizen Science GIS group for drone mapping of coastal sea grass with NSF project, which collaborate with MarineGeo at the Smithsonian Institution, Cornell University, University of California-Davis to drone-map seagrass meadow sites along the west coast of North America from California to Alaska.

My research involves topics on UAV/drone and satellite mapping, Geographical Information Science (GIS), machine learning algorithm, high-performance computing, sociological and environmental analysis and modeling.
